Outdoor Recreation

Join us for the first-ever Mini Sips, a smaller-format edition of Seacoast Sips of Science! For this inaugural event, we’re diving into the research behind outdoor recreation—from backcountry safety to gear innovation and how people experience the outdoors. Join us for a fireside chat with experts in the field and learn about the research that goes into designing gear, assessing weather conditions, and managing outdoor recreation spaces. Come grab a drink and join the conversation as we uncover the science that shapes our outdoor experiences.

Doors open 5:00 pm and talks will start at 5:45 pm.
Snacks, empanadas and drinks will be available to purchase during the event.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food.
